John Majdic
Landscape Designer
John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture from Temple University. Through his schooling he developed a modern approach to designing multi-functional outdoor spaces that blend native ecology with practical, people-friendly solutions. Ethical stormwater management, native plantings, and habitat gardens are routinely incorporated into his plans in an artful manner that reflects the aesthetic desires of his clients along with their sense of environmental stewardship. In addition to schooling, John spent several years working in residential and commercial contracting, which provided him with a valuable perspective on the construction process necessary to transform a drawing on paper into a completed project.

OlivIa Kirkpatrick
Landscape Designer
Olivia has an undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware in Landscape Architecture with a minor in Horticulture, and a background in fine and studio arts, which lends itself well to creative garden design. Prior to working at GreenWeaver, Olivia held positions at the Tyler Arboretum, Mt. Cuba Center, Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library, Viridian Landscape Studio and Evolution Landscape Design. Their work experience in public gardens has given them a strong understanding of maintenance needs for large scale landscapes, as well as the importance of maintaining plant collections for conservation and sustainability. In the summer of 2021, Olivia had the opportunity to visit Southern Appalachia with members of the Azalea Society of America to wild collect cuttings of Rhododendron calendulaceum, the flame azalea, for propagation in local gardens including Jenkins Arboretum and Mt. Cuba Center. Outside work, Olivia spends their time making art and working with the medicinal plants they grow in their home garden. They are very proud to have grown the native Passiflora incarnata, maypop, in their garden for the first time last summer!
