A failed rain garden is turned into functional space for the Philadelphia K9 Unit. Clean topsoil and sod provide an exercise and training area for the dogs while underneath, stormwater is captured in underground tanks and infiltrated into the ground. This project manages a 1.5" rainfall on .42 acres of impervious surface with a holding capacity of 2800 cubic foot storage volume of water.
